Coconut Girl In A High Fashion World

I am a lover of all things coconut scented and flavored.  They remind me of easy living, warm tropical breezes & (most importantly) frosty beverages with little umbrellas.  Enjoying coconut products regularly makes feel like it's close to summertime, even on the chillest rainy day.  Here are my favorites.

This conditioner smells fabulous & is environmentally friendly to boot.

This makes your skin feel like buttah!  And smells like fresh coconut of course.

I love this coffee...especially with extra cream and sugar. 

And of course this with pineapple juice.  Where's my beach chair?

Let's Get Physical

I don't know about you, but my excerise clothing is downright pathetic.  Atheletic-type apparel is never something I want to spend my money on, but I think I will have to suck it up and invest in some cute pieces soon.  When I go for walks, people probably mistake me for a hobo in my ratty-ass duds.  I really like these items, the bright colors are great for the springtime too!

My Three Favorites

My three favorites this week are all extremely enjoyable on their own.  But when combined, they create quite possibly the most deliciously comforting grilled sandwich ever.  I'd like to think I invented it, so if anyone wants to challenge me for ownership, bring it on!  But for now here's my amazing creation, The Italian Elvis sandwich.

So you start with two slices of potato bread.  To one slice of bread, spread liberally with...

To the other slice, slather with...

To the peanut butter side, add half of a sliced ...

Assemble the sandwich and place on a heated, buttered griddle pan.  Grill until both sides are golden brown and peanut butter & Nutella are melted.

Forbidden Fruit

The shopping strike continues for another few weeks.  I must say I have gotten used to it, but I'm so looking forward to buying spring and summer clothes.  And for some reason I've recently been eyeing up fruit themed pieces.  They are bright, flirty and perfect for the season ahead.  Just looking at them is like an instant Vitamin C injection...in accessory form.
