I am so delighted by an up & coming trend...bellhop chic!  How fun! If you ask me, those spiffy old-fashioned bellhop uniforms need a resurgence.  I haven't seen any bellboys sporting those cute little hats in hotels lately.  Boo to that, bring back the hats!

So how does one try out the bellhop trend without looking like a pants-less trollop or someone's bag bitch?  A cute little ornamental-buttoned jacket is just perfect!

My Three Favorites

My first favorite thing of last week is too delicious not to share...

These scrumptious little treats are doughnut muffins (insert heavenly, angelic singing here).  They taste just as good as they sound and are super easy to make.  The recipe lives here.  My second favorite thing goes perfectly with my first favorite...

The Donut Shop coffee for the Keurig coffee maker.  It's nothing fancy, just makes a damned good cup of joe!

And finally, daylight savings time.  What a pain in the fanny to get used to, but how fabulous it feels to have more light!

Blue Bedrooms

So our bedroom is in desperate need of a fresh coat of paint!  Miraculously, the hubby and I both agree that blue would be a great color choice.  The only question is, which shade of blue?  There are so many gorgeous shades available it will be so hard to choose!  Below are some of my favorite blue rooms I have stumbled across. I hope they will inspire us in our final color decision.

Flamingos, Fashion & Festivity

As you can probably guess from my blog header, I have a thing for flamingos.  I believe my fascination with the birds originated when I was a kid.   Every summer, my family would go to this restaurant on vacation in Long Beach Island, New Jersey.  The decor at the Terrace Tavern was (and still is!) all flamingos, right down to the swizzle sticks in the cocktails (or in my case, the Shirley Temples). 

I love the gaudy fabulousness associated with flamingo-themed fashion items. They will eternally remind me of vacations, warm weather and fun times!

Another week gone by.  My absolute favorite, favorite thing of last week is definitely...

Rosey Goat, the yummiest goat cheese I've ever had.  I happen to love plain goat cheese, as well as anything rosemary-infused. So this combination is downright heavenly.  Also...

  

The gorgeous Elie Saab gown Mila Kunis wore to the Oscar's.  The color is so beautifully feminine and I love the touches of lace at the bosom.  And finally...

I'm ashamed to admit it, but celebrities behaving badly was quite entertaining.  Between Xtina's DUI, Mr. Tiger Blood's crazy rants and John Galliano's alleged appalling behavior.  Craziness!
